Nashville International Piano Competition
The Steinway Society of Nashville is pleased to announce the fourth Nashville International Piano Competition. This competition will recognize with scholarships the outstanding gifts of students who are seeking to study piano at any National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) – accredited school in Tennessee.
We’re thrilled to announce that Steinway Artist Antonio Pompa-Baldi will be the featured performer at the recital in Collins Alumni Auditorium on the campus of Lipscomb University at 7:30 on April 13, 2018.
The Nashville International Piano Competition will be open to all classically trained high school pianists in grades 9 through 12 (or within the four years before university entrance), regardless of their present state or country of residence. Those interested in applying for one of these scholarships should complete the Online Application indicated by the link on this page. Complete competition information is available under “The Competition” tab.
The Steinway Society of Nashville – a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization and sponsor for the event – is hosting its fourth competition in Spring 2018, continuing thereafter on a biennial basis. A panel of noted judges will determine the winners. Competition repertoire requirements for 2018 are listed on the “Application Rules” page.
